Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. A number of favors for reception guests and people who stand up in your wedding are out there on the web. Trying to select just the right one is where it got difficult. I found some bargains on thank you presents, too. I got a really good deal on a wedding set that had a ring bearer pillow, a flower girl basket, a guest book, a pen, and eight pieces in total. That was a big savings. Buying them together rather than individually saved me a pretty penny.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box. In fact there were a few nice wedding jewelry boxes that I could choose from. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had some shopping to do yet for the reception; the ceremony was pretty well set. One thing that was on my plate, so to speak, was finding a wedding cake topper, and another was picking out wedding gifts for my friends and relatives, so I paid attention to those two next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
The topper I finally decided on was a bride and groom embracing and it was really quite lovely on top of our wedding cake. I almost picked one out that had embossed silver intials and crystals, but after looking through a whole bunch of possibilities, I went with our mini bride and groom. With all of the rest of it out of the way, it was time to make the call on a present for my bridemaids. They each got leather jewelry boxes, and inside of it was some unique wedding jewelry. What I found for them was a shimmering rhinestone bracelet. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. My single sister caught the bouquet and my brother in law was the winner at the garter toss. Might something come of it? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Only time will tell.
